Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of voucher purchase for all fixed rate packages. Payment secures the booking and allows for scheduling.

 

Scheduling Terms

• Voucher Validity: Each voucher purchased is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Clients must schedule their film date within this period.

• Booking Process: Clients are required to book their film date at least 5 business days in advance. Scheduling is subject to availability, and dates will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

• Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their film date once without penalty if they provide at least 2 business days' notice. Any notice less than 48 hours of the scheduled film date may incur a rescheduling fee of $150.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Full Refund: Clients may cancel within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no work has been performed and notice of cancellation is not within 7 days of the scheduled film date.

• No Refund: No refunds will be issued within 7 days of scheduled film date, except in cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, illness), where rescheduling will be offered at no extra cost.

• Expiration: If the client does not book and complete their film date within the 30 days voucher validity period, the voucher will expire, and no refunds will be issued.

 

Service Scope

• These package rates apply only to the following counties in NJ: Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer, Monmouth, Union, and Hunterdon. An additional travel fee of $150 applies for locations outside of these counties but still within NJ, and $250 for Bucks and Northampton counties in PA and Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island boroughs in NY.

• The end product and amount of labor must fit within the scope of the purchased package. If you (client) require a different scope or additional work beyond the package, a separate estimate will be provided.

 

Ownership and Rights

• Chiron Films, Inc. grants the client full ownership of the final edited video(s) and all associated deliverables. Chiron Films, Inc. retains the right to use the content for promotional purposes, including showcasing work on our website, social media, and portfolio.

• Any raw footage or project files remain the intellectual property of Chiron Films, Inc., unless otherwise agreed upon in writing and can be provided to the client for an additional fee upon request.

 

Client Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for providing all necessary materials, including but not limited to logos, images, and brand guidelines, in a timely manner to ensure the project schedule is met.

• Clients must ensure that all permissions and clearances have been obtained for any third party content provided for use in the project.

• Review and approval of deliverables must be completed within the agreed upon timelines to avoid delays.

• Client must ensure all necessary permissions related to filming on location are secured prior to the shoot date. Chiron Films, Inc. is not liable for any delays or cancellations due to lack of proper permits and clearances.

 

Project Timeline and Delivery

• An estimated project timeline will be provided to the client at the start of the project. Delays in client response or approvals may affect the delivery date.

• The final deliverables will be provided in the agreed upon format (e.g., digital download, hard drive, etc.). Additional formats or copies may incur extra charges.

 

Revisions Beyond Included Round

• Additional rounds of revisions beyond what is included in the package will be billed at $100 per hour. A new timeline will be established for each additional round of revisions.

 

Right to Refuse Service

• Chiron Films, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to any client or project that conflicts with our company values, involves illegal activities, or presents a conflict of interest. If service is refused, a full refund will be issued if payment has already been made.

 

Client Satisfaction

• Chiron Films, Inc. is committed to delivering high quality content that meets our clients' expectations. If the client is not fully satisfied with the final product, they may request one round of revisions, limited to elements within the original scope of the project. This revision request must be made within 7 days of receiving the final deliverable.

• If the client remains dissatisfied after the included revision, additional revisions can be made at a rate of $100 per hour, with a separate estimate provided for the scope of the additional work.

• Our goal is to ensure that every client is pleased with the outcome of their project, and we will work collaboratively to achieve the desired result within the agreed upon terms.
